Block World

Brief: A platformer game where you need to make way for the protagonist to reach the end of a level inorder to catch his evil twin who is upto something not good.
Under the hood infos: Idea of Block World came out from the other platformer games where the players need to make a path for the protagonist of the game to move it from point A to point B. This follows the same concept but in opposite manner. In this game instead of building objects to create a path, objects need to be destroyed. Players will need to remove the blocks depending on their properties, it can be removed to create a vacant space through which our protagonist can pass through to end a level.
After the general idea was cleared, attention went to different types of blocks. Some blocks cannot be removed, some can trigger something else acting like a button and some can disappear after it has been stepped on. Once the types of blocks were finalized, the focus was moved to different objects that can be put into the game to make it more challenging. For instance, fan block was added that levitates the protagonist to reach up higher places. Spiked blocks are also added that can kill the player. Once every game items were finalized, the last thing to do was to design levels with gradual difficulty curve.
A very humorous backstory added to give player certain kind of motivation to finish a level and eventually finish the game and check what exactly happens.
